What you're riding through:
a plateau-wide system.

Panguitch Lake sits on the Markagunt Plateau in the Dixie National Forest — one of the most trail-dense OHV areas in southern Utah. The terrain is mostly forested, with open meadow stretches, seasonal streams, and breaks in the canopy that drop your jaw with panoramic views of canyon country far below. The route network is extensive — hours of riding without retracing a single tire track.

Fall Aspen Loops

Late September: the aspens go gold and the forest is extraordinary. These routes look completely different in fall — quieter, more atmospheric, genuinely worth planning a trip around.

We track them.
Ask us at pickup.

The Panguitch Lake trail network is generally rideable from late May through October. Early season can mean soft conditions on north-facing slopes. Peak summer is optimal. Fall (September–October) has the aspens in color and dramatically thinned crowds. We track current conditions actively and give you a real route briefing at pickup based on what's actually running well that day.
